Dr Emily Chesshyre is a paediatric consultant at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with a special interest in paediatric infectious diseases. She is a mid-career research fellow in clinical mycology at the NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre, University of Exeter. She undertakes clinical epidemiology research in paediatric infectious diseases, with a focus on invasive fungal infections in children and neonates.
