Anne completed her General Nurse training in the Meath Hospital, Dublin and her Emergency Nurse training in St. James’ Hospital before returning to the Emergency Department (ED) in the Meath Hospital where she worked as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 and 2. She completed the ACLS Provider Course and was nominated for the ACLS Instructor Course which she completed in Connolly Hospital and became a member of the ACLS Instructor Faculty.
Following the amalgamation and transfer of the Adelaide/Meath and National Children’s Hospitals to the new site in Tallaght in 1998 she worked in the ED in Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) as a Clinical Nurse Manager 2.
She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management in the Institute of Public Administration and became Assistant Director of Nursing/Site Manager in TUH in 2009.Other courses completed include the HMIMMS Course (Hospital Major Incident Medical Management and Support Course) and the LEO Programme (Leading an Empowered Organisation)
She joined Point of Care Health Services in September 2017 as Nurse Manager of IV Services where she works as the Clinical Lead for the Baxter Home Care IV programmes which includes SOPAT with responsibility for the day to day management of SOPAT nursing teams, clinical contact for nurses and customers and training, support and supervision of the SOPAT programme
