Cheryl Scott graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast, in 2003 with a degree of Masters of Pharmacy with First Class Honours. She completed a post-graduate Masters in Clinical Pharmacy in 2010, as well as the non-medical Independent Prescribing qualification that same year.
Cheryl has been a Specialist Antimicrobial Pharmacist since 2008 working in both Primary and Secondary care sectors. In 2019 she was appointed as the Lead OPAT Antimicrobial Pharmacist at the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, tasked with developing and designing the new OPAT service Trust-wide, as part of the wider OPAT MDT.
Cheryl has a breadth of experience working across care boundaries in both Primary and Secondary care in Northern Ireland, including involvement in multiple regional, national and European antimicrobial audits and projects.
