Dr Elena Ferran is an ST7 in Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology with the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated from University College London and completed her foundation training in Brighton, followed by core medical and specialist ID/MM registrar training in London. In 2019, she undertook an Out of Programme Experience at the National Mycobacterial Reference Service, UKHSA in Colindale. Her key interests include OPAT and molecular laboratory diagnostics in microbiology.
