Fiona Thorburn is a consultant in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases based at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2007 and has trained as an infection specialist in the West of Scotland, undertaking the DTM&H, PhD and FRCPath. She was appointed to the Golden Jubilee in 2024 and is developing a specialist interest in cardiac infection management.
