Georgie trained in medicine at Imperial College Medical School ( at St Marys) and continued her post graduate studies in north west London with a spell in Malawi and Myanmar. She undertook a fellowship with the Faculty for Medical Leadership and Management based with the Royal College of Physicians working on the Future Hospital Commission and other projects. She worked as a Consultant at Imperial College Health Care NHS Trust for 6 years in TB and Respiratory Infection before moving to Cambridge in 2022. She has an interest in Respiratory infections, education and teamworking and if not at work can usually be found on the allotment.
