
Dr Geraldine Moloney is a medical graduate of University of Galway. After completing specialist training in Infectious Diseases with RCPI, she undertook a PhD in Clinical Microbiology in University of Dublin, Trinity College. Her areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship, microbiome and C. difficile infections, sepsis and OPAT. She is a consultant in Infectious Diseases at Galway University Hospitals, where she is the regional lead for the OPAT programme.
