Dr Hamish Houston is a specialty registrar (ST4) in infectious diseases and internal medicine at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, University College London Hospital, currently attached to the OPAT service led by Dr Sarah Logan. Previously, he has completed a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in East Africa with London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and worked as a general medical registrar in Zambia’s Eastern Province. As an Associate Editor for the RCP’s Future Healthcare Journal, he is passionate about identifying practical solutions to current healthcare challenges and the use of electronic health records (EHR) to support antimicrobial stewardship.
