Nik trained in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine in Scotland, subsequently being appointed in 2017 as Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, Dundee. He has served as clinical lead for the ID service since 2020 and has a range of interests including blood borne viruses and infections in people who inject drugs.
