Helen works as the Clinical Operations Manager within MCC and is responsible for the management of OPAT and CIT (Community Intervention Team) referrals nationally.
Prior to TCP Homecare Helen worked internationally in the Middle East in the Management & Commissioning of the King Hamad University Hospital in Bahrain and worked in the Office of Academic Affairs in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in Saudi Arabia focusing on staff development & healthcare projects and the hospital wide implementation of the patient electronic health record (EPIC). Helen also held a management role within Gerontology in St. James’s Hospital, Dublin and spent over a decade working in the NHS, United Kingdom within Acute Medicine, and Stroke Care.
Helen obtained her Diploma in Nursing from Anglia Ruskin University, UK in 2001 and went on to complete a Diploma in Enhanced Nursing Care & BSc Nursing (2003/2004). Helen also completed an MBA with Torrens University in 2016 and hold City & Guilds, UK Educational Certificates.
Helen is passionate about healthcare and believes in keeping the patient central to all healthcare objectives. Community care has become a particular passion and bringing care to patients homes particularly older people where delivery of care is of a high quality standard is our norm and not our objective.
