Kirsty is an IV Specialist Nurse with IV at Home (CCICP), where she assesses new referrals, places midlines, administers IV antibiotics and IV furosemide in patients' homes, and leads the weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting. Since joining the service in 2022, she has developed a strong interest in expanding community-based care to help more patients receive treatment at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions. Prior to this role, she worked on a colorectal surgery ward.
