Louisa is the Advanced Pharmacist for Technical Services at University Hospitals Birmingham, where she also serves as the Accountable Pharmacist and Production Manager for the Trust’s aseptic units. In this role, she oversees the preparation of cytotoxic drugs, monoclonal antibodies, and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT).

She has a strong professional interest in closed system transfer devices and is currently pursuing a PhD at Edinburgh Napier University, focusing on research in this area to advance practice and improve safety in aseptic services.
