Noreen graduated as a Physiotherapist from University College Dublin and received a Masters in Healthcare Management from the Institute of Public Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Management – Lean Systems from the University of Limerick. She has a number of years clinical experience working in acute hospitals, and subsequently took up the post of Physiotherapy Manager in Tallaght Hospital. Noreen worked as a Programme Manager with Clinical Strategy and Programmes, HSE and is currently working in Primary Care. A key part of this role is programme management of the National Community Intervention Team (CIT)/ OPAT Programme. This aims to provide an alternative to hospital care for patients who require a range of services which CIT can deliver in a community setting; to facilitate the safe roll out of OPAT services and to facilitate quality improvements.
